Welcome to Hiraa Travel & Safaris. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any of our tours, safaris, or travel services. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payments

All bookings must be confirmed in writing through email or our official booking platform.

A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

The balance payment must be made at least 30 days before departure unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings made within 30 days of the departure date require full payment at the time of booking.

2. Pricing and Inclusions

Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, park fee revisions, or changes in government taxes.

Unless stated otherwise, prices include accommodation, park entry fees, meals, transportation, and guide services.

International flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, and gratuities are not included.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing and will be subject to the following charges:

60+ days before departure: 10% of tour cost

30–59 days before departure: 30% of tour cost

15–29 days before departure: 50% of tour cost

Less than 15 days or no-show: 100% of tour cost

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 30 days of cancellation notice.

4. Amendments and Changes

Hiraa Travel & Safaris reserves the right to make changes to itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, park regulations, or safety concerns.

Any major change will be communicated promptly, and alternative arrangements of similar value will be provided.

5. Travel Insurance

All clients are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, lost baggage, and personal accidents before departure.

6. Responsibilities and Liability

Hiraa Travel & Safaris acts only as an agent for hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other service providers.

While every care is taken to ensure the best possible experience, we are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, accidents, theft, or government actions.

Participation in any safari or tour is entirely at the client’s own risk.

7. Health and Safety

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are in good health and fit for travel.

Clients must adhere to all safety instructions from guides and tour leaders during the safari.

8. Passports and Visas

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any required vaccinations for entry into Tanzania and other destinations included in their itinerary.

9. Complaints and Feedback

Any complaint should be reported immediately to the tour leader or company representative to allow prompt resolution.

Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the end of the tour.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and any disputes will be settled in Tanzanian courts.
